About Program
Kenya is known as the 'Cradle of Humanity' because it has discovered some of the oldest human fossils. This nation plays a crucial role in human history, showcasing a variety of ethnic groups and a rich cultural legacy. Additionally, Kenya is celebrated as the 'home of the African safari.' It is a distinctive travel destination, characterized by its varied landscapes, plentiful wildlife, rich traditions, and dynamic history.
UCESCO Africa provides volunteer opportunities in sustainable initiatives that enhance Education (teaching in schools), Community Health (via our clinics and Free Medical Camps), Sports, Yoga, & Childcare. Activities include Beach/Ocean Clean-up, Eco-farming and Eco-Tourism, Life skills training, teaching languages, Conservation efforts, Women Empowerment, Youth programs, Cooking and Nutrition, Construction

Program Impact
Achievements and Milestones (2022-2024)
Awarded 500+ scholarships, both partial or full scholarships increasing female enrolment to prevent early teenage pregnancies.
Rescued 20 girls from early marriage and restored them back to school.
Supported 100+ teen mothers with education, empowerment, and resource sharing.
Built 10 new classrooms in Silver Springs, New Horizon, renovated 15 in Peggy Lucas, Shining Hope, and Great Hope, benefiting 1,000+ students.
Reached 25,800+ individuals through medical camps.
Trained 4 farmers and 7 apprentice students to improve food security in Kibera.
Planted 20,000 trees to combat deforestation.
Supported 200 women entrepreneurs, with over 300,000Ksh in products for their businesses.
